This unique black and white diamond ring is set in a rich 18-karat rose gold. It carries an oval-cut black diamond center with two pear-cut white diamonds to either side of it. Wrapping the three center stones are 48 round-cut white diamonds trailing along the shoulders and halfway down the band. At 18-karat purity, rose gold displays more of a bright orange hue versus the less saturated and more pink hue of 14-karat rose gold. The oval black diamond is rose-cut to maximize shines from every slight movement from an otherwise opaquely solid stone. As with any black diamond, the stone is color treated for consistency to ensure a beautiful even tone.
